About our Diplomas

Seven Wellbeing Centre offers a fantastic base to begin or develop your journey in complementary therapies training. It is our aim to train expert practitioners who are able to work with real patients in real situations.

Why Train with us ?

If you are planning a career in complementary therapies, it is important that you feel prepared for practice beyond wellbeing treatments for well people. If you aim only to treat people who have no medical conditions, you will be narrowing your customer base to a small proportion of the population and you will be unprepared for changes in the health of those you do treat. Most of all, you could miss out on the satisfaction of bringing comfort and practical help to people at times when they need it the most.

Our complementary therapy courses are delivered by an experienced teaching team with specialist knowledge and experience gained through many years of practice within a clinical field. The courses are designed in consultation with complementary therapists working within the NHS and BHC who provide a unique insight into the experiences of working as part of a clinical team.

We will raise your awareness of a variety of environments, conditions and situations to give you the underpinning knowledge that will prepare you to be a safe and effective practitioner, understanding how your therapy influences disease and healing processes so you can maximize its benefits while minimizing the risks.

You will have the assurance that your qualifications meet with the latest national occupational standards and educational quality assurance, earning you Qualifications which you can take with you throughout your career. Our qualifications are recognized as being at the highest level and allow graduates full membership of a number of specialist professional associations and entry onto the CNHC register which is supported by the Department of Health as a regulator for the provision of complementary therapists within the NHS.

Finally, we have a 100% pass rate and the majority of our students graduate with credits and distinctions. This is a testament not only to our excellent teaching staff but is as a result of happy, students who are motivated to work hard but just as importantly are having fun!

Who are the Diploma courses for?

Anyone with the desire to improve the wellbeing of others through the conscious and informed use of complementary therapies will benefit from our courses.

It is recommended that students starting the course should have achieved a level of education equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A*- C. However, the right personal qualities are just as important as a good general education, and maturity is an advantage. Those seeking to change their career or returning to the workplace;    anyone with life experience and a wish to make a difference are particularly welcome.

We also welcome practicing complementary therapists who would like to upgrade their skills and knowledge. Our training is structured to be as flexible as possible; you can attend a single study day which will help you refresh and extend your knowledge, or you can complete a short course which may earn you an ITEC certificate and in some cases QCF points. If there are specific    areas you would like to study as part of your continuing professional development please contact us to find out more.

Health professionals of all disciplines are welcome. Accreditation of prior learning may be available for some elements of our courses.

Our courses are designed to run during weekends and evenings (commencing October) to minimize disruption to family and work. Admission to courses is by interview.
